River Kittens, the St. Louis based folk-duo of Allie Vogler and Mattie Schell, sound like they’ve been singing together their entire lives. The pair first met and jammed at a metal bar in 2014 and they have been singing like angels and fighting like sisters ever since. They have played tours and festivals across the US, were named them Best Americana Artist by the RiverFront Times, and this is just the beginning. They are salty and sweet, and sometimes sour too, but their two unique approaches blend together to create the tastiest treat. River Kittens’ effortless harmonies and honest songwriting can move an audience to laughter or tears. If you are looking for whiskey in a melody with a sidecar of sass, look no further.
